The Android MK802 is the coolest gadget I’ve seen a long time. It’s a USB stick sized device with HDMI out and USB in that runs Android. It allows you to stream movies and music to your TV while controlling the device through a keyboard and mouse.
Using a USB hub you can plug a keyboard and mouse into the MK802. Next you hook an HDMI cord from the stick to your TV. This will give you full control over it with the keyboard and mouse as well as audio and video through your TV. You can play your favorite movies and music easily. Simply stream them from your Android device from your networked computer.
The USB sticks are available in two memory sizes – 512MB and 1GB which should be more than enough. One cool feature would be an Android application that interfaces with the MK802. This would be a huge convenience because you could use your t-mobile cell phones as a remote control. This would allow you to start, stop, and pause movies right from your smart phone.
Right now these sticks are priced kind of expensive. The cheapest one is $85, which I think is pretty hefty. You can buy a cheap tablet for around $100-150 which would obviously include a screen. All you would need is the convenient HDMI out converter.
