With all of the hype surrounding this year’s world cup, I would expect this year’s release of Fifa 15 to be a hot selling game. With the introduction of emotional intensity into both the players and fans, this year’s Fifa has something new to offer compared to previous years. According to Electronic Arts, the emotion the players have adds a whole new layer of realism to this already awesome soccer game. The wait isn’t much longer either with an expected release date of September 23 in North America. Release details and pre order info can be found at FIFA15.com
If you watch the game trailer provided by Electronic Arts, they describe in depth their new emotional intensity feature. It adds a level of realism to this game that is frankly amazing. Both players and fans remember what other players are doing throughout the game. For instance, if a player misses a bunch of kicks in a row, the players around him will grow increasingly agitated, and it will show in their body language. Likewise, if a player gets a lot of close calls, the reaction throughout the game to that player will be positive. If a player continually tackles another, the two might have a confrontation with each other. The game takes into account various situations, and analyzes those situations in different contexts. In the end, you end up with both fans and players who have passionate emotional responses to how you are playing the game – just like the real thing.

This year’s Fifa 15 will be released on quite literally all platforms, just like last year. As per usual it will have versions for all the big consoles: Xbox, Play Station, and the Wii. It will also be released on mobile platforms including Android and iOS. So far no news on a Windows Phone release, however, Fifa 14 did have a Windows Phone release.
If you’re a fan of the Fifa game series, Fifa 15 will probably be an enjoyable buy for you. I’m excited to see the emotional responses from players, and the new graphics that this game will bring. Mark your calendars, the United States release date is only a couple weeks away!
